Bamboo is one of the most sustainable resources in the world! Despite its tough exterior, bamboo is actually a grass. When harvested, the roots remain allowing it to quickly regrow. Bamboo does not require clear-cutting, artificial irrigation or replanting.

    Orders typically ship out 3 to 5 business days after they are placed. All orders ship from our Texas warehouse. If an engraved-to-order item is included in your order, please allow up to 7 to 10 business days for your order to ship.

  • What temperatures can my bamboo utensils handle?

    Our bamboo utensils can withstand up to 400 degrees of heat. No bamboo utensils should be exposed to direct flame.

  • Do the utensils use lacquer? What kind of lacquer is used?

    Our lacquer is manufactured in compliance with FDA regulations for food contact materials.  The following items have a lacquer finish:

  • What is the clear lacquer made of? And why is it on the bamboo?

    The bamboo utensils are coated with a food-safe lacquer to ensure their durability. For consumer safety, our products are regularly tested for compliance with all FDA requirements and recommendations. Coatings are tested to make sure there are no toxic materials including phenols or heavy metals (cadmium, lead, etc.). The coating used is BPA-free.
